A life in progress

This space isn’t about a perfect expert or a supremely polished brand. It’s about a woman in the middle of becoming the next thing, in the middle of writing that next chapter — building confidence without over performing it. Learning emotional regulation like it’s a job. Taking a break from a career that she loved; now realizing it defined her identity and figuring out what’s next with curiosity instead of panic.

For over a decade I worked behind the chair — a hairstylist who dove deep into life with so many people helping them feel like themselves when they looked into the mirror. Eventually life got REALLY loud: divorce, kids, marriage, blended family dynamics, personal growth, routines to untangle and the establish again, inner work to do…. And in the midst of all the major transitions I realized that I still needed creativity it was just a different type of creativity. A quieter one. A slower one.

So I stepped back.

Not because I failed. Because I was growing.

So this is the space I will be documenting that shift: the beauty, the mindset work, the mess, the systems that I have found that help, the rituals that bond us, the humor that keeps motherhood human and the confidence that comes from being unapologetically who you are.

Here we explore:

  • Blended family life

  • Curated beauty, in our home and on ourselves

  • Emotional regulation

  • Fitness

  • Routines that make life feel a little lighter

  • Confidence as a lived experience, not a look

  • The becoming phase of womanhood that isn’t often talked about

No face. No performance. Just honesty, curiosity, beauty and intention.

Welcome to the middle. There’s room for you here, too.
